TRYING TO MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY DAY

The Ride

For most of my life I've wanted to take a bicycle ride across America.  But when  I was in my mid-50s, it seems like a good time to try while my bones and muscles are still working.  It was one of the greatest adventures of my life.

Starting on March 20, 2019 through June 10th of 2019, I did a 3 country ride (#3CountryRide):  from Tijuana just south of the San Diego border, across 15 U.S. States (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine) to Saint Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada just east of the Maine border.  A trek of about 4150 miles, all to help the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (https://www.bcrf.org) cure breast cancer.

The ride took 83 days, and 71 riding segments, averaging about 60 miles per day.

Each day we interviewed a local VIP.  You can checkout the list on http://www.3countryride.org/Ride.

In the end, we raised a little over $20,000 for BCRF.

I am greatly thankful and appreciative of those who donated to the BCRF and sponsored our ride.   I am also so thankful to all those who agreed to be interviewed.  It was fascinating meeting all of you.
